Build the full 30-minute ride into your arrival plan. Also allow time to travel between uniform pickup and your assigned hole. The schedule gap gives volunteers time to visit the Fan Shop. If you cannot attend, tell your Hole Captain as soon as possible. A live online Volunteer 101 session will be recorded, and most missed in-person training can be made up during the first shift.

Address: 5 Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, IL 60173

After parking, take the tournament shuttle to Volunteer Headquarters at Eaglewood Resort & Spa. From Eaglewood, follow the posted route to the Course No. 3 volunteer entrance.

Plan for the shuttle: Allow about 30 minutes for the bus ride from Woodfield Mall to Eaglewood. Shuttles run continuously, about every 10 minutes.

Volunteer questions & answers

All unique topics from the Gallery Management and PGA FAQ files are included below. Search for a topic, then open the answer.

All volunteersSchedules, training, uniforms, travel, access, meals, and event help.

Where can I find my work schedule?

Sign in to TeamWorks with the same name and email used when you signed up. TeamWorks is the official source for your assigned days and shift times.

If you cannot sign in, use “Forgot Your Password” or email presidentscupvolunteers@pgatourhq.com.

Can I edit my schedule or profile in TeamWorks?
No. General volunteers should treat TeamWorks as view-only. You may review your availability, days, and times, but changes must go through your Hole Captain or the PGA Volunteer Team.
What should I do if I need to change an assigned shift?
Contact your Hole Captain, Committee Chair, or lead. State the shift you cannot work and list every other date and time you can work. Giving options makes it much easier to keep the hole staffed.
What if I can work an added shift?
Tell your Hole Captain which dates and times you can add. Your captain can update TeamWorks and send you a new schedule.
Can my shift time change?
Yes. Your assigned day and hole should stay stable, but start and end times may change. Check TeamWorks near tournament week and again before each shift.
What if I can no longer volunteer?
Email presidentscupvolunteers@pgatourhq.com and copy your Hole Captain. Refund requests were accepted through August 31, 2026. The PGA team will remove you from the schedule and may fill the spot from its waitlist.
What if I will be late or cannot work my shift?
Tell your Hole Captain or lead as soon as possible. Early notice gives the team the best chance to move coverage or fill the post.
How do I update my availability, uniform size, or personal details?
Email presidentscupvolunteers@pgatourhq.com with the exact change. This includes availability, schedule preferences, uniform size, email, phone number, profile details, and TeamWorks login issues. Once schedules are released, assigned-shift changes should first go to your Hole Captain.
When is Gallery Management, Holes training?
On Sunday, September 20, Back Nine training is 10:30–11:30 AM and Front Nine training is 1:00–2:00 PM. Allow time to travel from uniform pickup to your assigned hole.
What if I cannot attend my set training time?
Tell your Hole Captain or lead as soon as you can. A live online Volunteer 101 session will take place before tournament week and will be recorded. Most volunteers who miss in-person training may be trained during their first shift. ShotLink and Walking Scorer training is required for those roles.
Will there be training guides or prep material?
Yes. Committee training guides are shared through the Chairs. Use the Main Volunteer Handbook, PGA volunteer emails, and the current volunteer FAQ for added details.
Is Volunteer Appreciation Weekend required?
No. Volunteer Appreciation Weekend and other bonus events are optional. Your assigned work shifts are required. The event is September 19–20, and volunteers may visit the Fan Shop and use the volunteer discount.
When is uniform pickup for our committee?
On Sunday, September 20, the Front Nine pickup is 10:00 AM–12:30 PM and the Back Nine pickup is 12:30–2:00 PM.
Can someone else pick up my uniform?
Yes. A friend or family member may pick it up during your set time. Pickup may also be possible during tournament week or before your first shift. Email the PGA Volunteer Team so they can plan for it.
What if I cannot attend any uniform pickup time?
Email presidentscupvolunteers@pgatourhq.com to set another option. Do not assume your items will be moved unless the team confirms it.
Where should I park for uniform pickup?
For September 19 and 20, use the volunteer lot at Woodfield Mall and take the event shuttle. For September 12 pickup, parking is at Eaglewood Resort & Spa on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is included in my volunteer package?
Two volunteer polos, one outerwear item, one baseball cap, credential and lanyard, free volunteer parking, a tournament-approved clear bag, a volunteer pin, and meals while working. Each uniform bag is also set to include a code for 50% off SQAIRZ footwear.
What should I wear?
Wear the approved volunteer uniform, credential, and khaki shorts, pants, or a skirt while on duty. Choose comfortable closed-toe shoes and dress for the forecast.
Can I exchange my uniform for another size?
Size trades begin after the last pickup day. During tournament week, the PGA team will try to help based on the stock that remains.
Can I buy another polo or outerwear item?
Not before tournament week. The PGA must first make sure each volunteer receives the items ordered. Remaining items and past event stock may be sold at Volunteer Headquarters during tournament week.
Do all volunteers need a photo credential?
No. Hole Captains and other approved Volunteer Leadership roles need a photo credential. Marshals and other general hole volunteers do not need one unless the PGA sends them a separate request.
Do volunteers receive tickets, and can I attend on a day off?
Your volunteer credential gives you grounds access throughout tournament week, including days you are not working. No added guest tickets are included. On a day off, do not wear your uniform and keep your credential out of clear view once inside. Credentials are nontransferable. Guest tickets must be bought through the Presidents Cup website.
Where is volunteer parking?
Free volunteer parking is at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Go to Lot 1 first. When it fills, staff and signs will direct cars to overflow Lots 2 or 3. Event shuttles run between Woodfield Mall and Volunteer Headquarters at Eaglewood Resort & Spa. The lot is open September 19–27.
Are there other ways to get to the event?
Yes. Uber and Lyft may use the rideshare drop-off at Eaglewood. Volunteers may also take Metra’s MD-W Line to Medinah station. A shuttle will run between the station and West Entrance after that gate opens. Early-shift volunteers should use the volunteer route through Eaglewood.
Can I enter through Medinah’s main gate?
Yes, once the main gate is open to the public. It cannot be used before public gates open. For an early shift, enter through the volunteer route from Eaglewood Resort & Spa.
How do I get from Eaglewood to the course?
Leave through the back of Eaglewood and follow signs to the volunteer entrance at Medinah Country Club Course No. 3. Use the entry map on this site. ADA help will be available.
Where do I report when I arrive?
Volunteer Headquarters at Eaglewood is the main arrival and entry point. After entry, report to your assigned hole or work area. Hole Captains will track arrival at each hole.
How early should I arrive?
Use the arrival and check-in time shown in TeamWorks. Leave extra time for parking, the shuttle, security, and the walk to your assigned hole.
Are meals, drinks, and break areas provided?
Yes. Your Hole Captain will give you a meal voucher when you check in each workday. Volunteer Oasis tents will have snacks, drinks, and space to rest. Vouchers can be used at several course sites, and volunteers may use public seating areas.
What happens during bad weather?
Follow all event alerts and directions from tournament staff. Do not leave your post without word from your Hole Captain unless there is an urgent safety risk.
What is the Gallery Management, Holes team’s main job?
Help keep players and guests safe, manage gallery lines and crossings, support quiet during play, and give guests clear and kind direction.
Who should I contact?

For event-wide questions, TeamWorks access, profile updates, uniform changes, or general volunteer help, email presidentscupvolunteers@pgatourhq.com.

For an assigned shift, workday trade, arrival, or hole question, contact your Hole Captain. During a shift, start with your Hole Captain. For urgent safety or medical needs, alert tournament or emergency staff at once.

Where can I find the latest PGA Volunteer FAQ?
Use the links in recent PGA volunteer emails or ask the PGA Volunteer Team for the current FAQ. The PGA plans to update it as new questions come in.

Hole Captains and leadsLead-team tools and steps. This section is for Hole Captains and lead staff.

When is Hole Captains Virtual Training on Friday, September 11?

Hole Captains Virtual Training is on Friday, September 11, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. on Microsoft Teams.

This virtual meeting is for all Hole Captains and the Gallery Management Leadership Team.

What is the leadership schedule for Saturday, September 12?

Both events are in person at Eaglewood for Hole Captains and the Gallery Management Leadership Team.

  • Leadership Uniform Pickup: 9:00–10:00 a.m.
  • Leadership Committee Training: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Parking: Park at Eaglewood for both events.

Do Hole Captains need a photo credential?
Yes. Hole Captains and other approved Volunteer Leadership roles must submit a current headshot using the leadership photo form. Select “Volunteer - Volunteer Leadership” as the credential type. Do not share the leadership-only form with general volunteers.
What if I cannot attend the September 12 leadership session?
Tell the lead for your half of the course. Front Nine captains should contact Bob Miller. Back Nine captains should contact Brogan Ptacin. If a hole has two captains, the person who attends should share notes with the person who misses it. A second in-person leadership session has not been promised.
Why is there a gap between pickup and training?
The gap is planned. It gives volunteers time to visit the Fan Shop and travel from the pickup area to their assigned hole for on-course training.
How does a Hole Captain pull a full team schedule report?
In TeamWorks, go to Home → Reporting Services → Committee Reports. Select Schedule, set the date range to September 22–27, include contact information and volunteers without shifts, then export to Excel or PDF. Save or print a copy for tournament week.
How does a Hole Captain pull a daily check-in report?
In Committee Reports, select Check-In Report. Pull one report for each day, Tuesday through Sunday, then export it to Excel or PDF. Use it to mark volunteers present when they reach the hole.
What if my team or schedule page looks blank?
Make sure you are in the right committee view. Use Volunteer List, Committee Schedule, or Reporting Services for the task at hand. A blank yellow grid may mean you are on the wrong screen. If data is still missing, send a screenshot to the PGA team or Gallery Management lead team.
How do I add, move, or remove a shift in TeamWorks?
Open Committee Schedule. To remove a shift, right-click it and select Delete. To add one, find the volunteer’s row and click-drag across the needed time. If right-click fails on a Mac, retry or use another device. Ask the PGA team for help rather than leave the schedule wrong.
What should I do after changing a schedule?
Review the full Volunteer List and confirm the hole, dates, and times. Select the people who need the change, use “Send Schedules,” send a short direct note, and ask them to confirm. Do not rely on the TeamWorks notice alone.
Can Rangers or other general volunteers edit TeamWorks?
No. General volunteers may view their profile and schedule, but they cannot make edits. Hole Captains and approved leads manage assigned shifts.
Which requests go to the PGA team, and which go to the Hole Captain?

PGA team: login help, availability or preference updates, uniform sizes, personal details, withdrawal or refund requests, and alternate uniform pickup.

Hole Captain or lead: released-shift changes, workday trades, assigned-hole questions, reporting details, and notice of a late arrival or absence.

What should a captain do if a volunteer wants to leave?
Send the request to the PGA Volunteer Team and remove the person from your working lineup once the PGA confirms the change. The PGA team manages refunds and waitlist placement.
What if a volunteer does not reply or confirm?
Try a direct email, call, or text using the contact data in TeamWorks. After several tries, alert the Gallery Management lead team and PGA Volunteer Team so they can check status and decide if a waitlist volunteer is needed.
What if a shift does not have enough volunteers?
Email the PGA Volunteer Team and copy the Front Nine or Back Nine lead. State the hole, date, shift time, current headcount, and number of open spots. The PGA may be able to add a waitlist volunteer.
Do we know the exact Ranger and Marshal posts?
View the Initial placement guide: Gallery Management Marshal Course Positions above for the current post plan. This is the starting point for Hole Captains, and positions may change during tournament week.
Can Hole Captains walk their hole in advance?
A course walk must be set with the PGA team. Do not plan an unscheduled visit. The PGA is willing to help set a time when a walk is needed to plan posts and team flow.
What is the day-of check-in plan?
Volunteers arrive through Volunteer Headquarters and the Eaglewood volunteer entrance, then report to their assigned hole. Hole Captains use the daily TeamWorks Check-In Report to mark each person present and report no-shows to the Front Nine or Back Nine lead. The PGA may refine this flow before tournament week.
What if a Hole Captain steps down but still wants to volunteer?
The role change must go through the PGA team. If a refund was issued, the person may need to sign up again before being placed in a standard role. A third co-captain role is not added by default, but the person may serve as a regular volunteer or support the current captains.
What should Hole Captains send to Rangers and Marshals?
Review TeamWorks often, keep shifts up to date, contact each person, confirm days and times, and share key points from PGA newsletters. Send training, parking, pickup, and entry details that apply. Direct event-wide questions to the PGA inbox. Captains should lead team contact rather than wait for every note to come from the main committee.
No answers match that search. Try a shorter term.
